Essential Annual Cavity Wax TopUp
Making sure the treatment is doing its job
The idea is that our treatment surface takes the wear and tear instead of the underside of your vehicle. Cavity wax has a shelf life of twelve months so its important that we reapply this every year to keep the protection at its best. We also anticipate that you may have incurred the odd bit of scuffing, scratches and light surface damage to the treatment which we also touch up and cover during the annual inspection. Doing annual checks allows us to keep on top of the treatment and make sure that its doing its job as intended. With each annual inspection we roll the warranty on for another year. Most people choose to wait whilst we do the annual inspection as it only takes one to two hours to do, there's a comfy waiting area with sofas, a work desk, free drinks and fish for company. Please note we share our reception with the other company in the building and at times the area may be busy.
What Does The Annual Inspection Involve?
Visual Inspection
We lift the vehicle on the ramp and inspect the treatment thoroughly. This often involves undertrays, trims and wheels being removed for appropriate access.
Cavity Wax Top-Up
We reapply the heated cavity wax in the cavities to provide protection and prevention for another year. This usually takes 30 to 40 minutes to complete.
Treatment Top-Up
It is common for us to apply a light touch up of the treatment with a thin layer of top coat loosely applied with thicker coverage over any scrapes or damage.
Bill & Paperwork
We charge a fixed fee of £85 for the annual inspection, this covers the one to two hours labour needed and the product used for the topping up.
